Privacy Policy
Short version: the tools run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type or upload is sent to me, stored by me, or seen by me. No accounts, no cookies. The only measurement is an anonymous, cookieless page-visit counter.
1. Who this covers
This policy describes how Tools for Stupid Wizards ("the site", "I") handles information when you visit toolsforstupidwizards.com or use any of the tools on it. The site is operated by an individual creator in the United States.
2. What you type and upload
Every tool on this site (the Minecraft chat generator, the fake review generator, the review thumbnail generator, and any tool added later unless its page says otherwise) runs client-side in your web browser. The text you type and the images you upload are processed on your own device to draw the picture you download. They are never transmitted to this site's servers, never stored, and never shared. If you close the tab, they're gone.
3. Information I collect directly
Only what you choose to send. The site has no user accounts, no comment sections, and no newsletters. If you use the contact form, I receive the name, email address, and message you typed, and I use them only to read and reply. Form delivery is handled by Formspree under their privacy policy. If you never use the form, I collect nothing.
4. Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like nearly every web host, Vercel may process basic technical data when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This happens as part of serving and securing the website, and it's governed by Vercel's privacy policy. I don't access or use this data to identify visitors.
5. Cookies and analytics
This site does not set cookies. It uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits. That system works without cookies and without tracking you across other sites: it records anonymous, aggregated numbers like page views, country, browser type, and referrer, and it can't identify you personally. Details are in Vercel's analytics privacy description. There are no other analytics or tracking scripts, and nothing about your visit is ever sold or shared.
6. Third-party links
The "Buy me a coffee" buttons link to my page on buymeacoffee.com. If you click through and support the site there, anything you enter on that page (name, payment info, messages) is handled by Buy Me a Coffee under their privacy policy. I only see what they show creators: typically a display name and any message you choose to leave.
7. Children's privacy
The site doesn't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. There are no accounts, and the contact form isn't directed at kids. If a child sent something through it, a parent can ask me to delete it via the same form.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data a site holds about you. Because this site doesn't collect or store personal data, there's generally nothing to access or delete. For data processed by Vercel or Buy Me a Coffee, contact them through the policies linked above.
9. Changes to this policy
If the site's data practices ever change (for example, adding a new service that touches visitor data), this page will be updated and the effective date at the top will change. Meaningful changes won't apply retroactively.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy? Use the contact form or leave a message through the Buy Me a Coffee page and I'll get back to you.
